pcb design

Here are some pics.
The first is my PCB design in freepcb. The thing to note here is that you don't create routes as part of your PCB, you create things called "nets" (which pins are connected to which pins) which then the program uses to make "rat lines", which are the purple lines. You can edit these, but the ones the program chooses are pretty good. From here to put the file into "freerouting" and it generates a routing scheme. You can edit this and set parameters and all that, until you've perfected it. You can import it back into freepcb and keep editing it in there until you have it just right. I'm not quite there yet.
